Cardiology Consultation
A cardiology consultation is an important preventive measure to heart disease. You should schedule a consultation if you think you are having cardiac problems, if you have a family history of cardiac health problems, or as a pre and post-operative preparation.
Electrocardiogram (ECG)
One of the easiest ways to know for sure if you’re having heart problems is through an ECG or EKG. The electrocardiogram monitors the electrical signal of your heart and can let a doctor know if there is something unusual going on.
Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
A Transthoracic Echocardiography or TTE uses high frequency sound-waves to create moving image of your heart’s chest wall. This is one of the most non-invasive types of procedures.
Exercise Stress Testing
During the stress test, your heart is tested to see how well it handles large amounts of stress placed on it through exercise.
Stress Echocardiography
Similarly to an exercise stress test, you will exercise during the Stress Echocardiography, however when your heart reaches high levels, an image will be taken of your heart.
Holter Monitoring
A Holter Monitor is a device you wear for 24 hours that allows us to monitor your heart activity.
